The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the Teen Court Coordinator, handling legal and court services for teenaged violators separate from the adult court. This is accomplished by assisting with the operations of Teen Court. Other duties include scheduling dockets, preparing return dockets, communicating with defendants, volunteers and placement agencies, providing back-up services for the Teen Court Coordinator and other Municipal Court staff and interacting with other City employees, staff at other Cities and/or other Teen Court Programs, school district personnel, placement agencies and citizens.
This position does not provide direction to other City employees.
What We're Looking For
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Office/clerical experience preferred.
• Two years related experience working directly with teens or experience working
in a Court environment.
