The purpose of this position is to provide support in the construction and maintenance of City infrastructure. This is accomplished by operating various types of heavy and light equipment, constructing water, wastewater and storm drain lines, repairing asphalt and concrete roads, providing maintenance to water and sewer lines. Other duties include maintaining and repairing equipment such as backhoes, pick-ups, dump trucks and various tools and interacting with other City employees and citizens.
This position does not provide direction to other employees.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- No experience required.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
- Must obtain a valid Class A learner’s permit within 30 days as a condition of continued employment.
- Must obtain a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment as a condition of continued employment.
