Customer Service Representative Summary/Objective

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by providing information about Buyers Safety products and services, taking orders, and processing returns.

• Answer customer calls for price quotes, purchase orders, returns, and web cancellations.
• Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls.
• Assist walk-in customers.
• Achieve and maintain rapport with customers to give them the best possible service.
• Follow up with customers to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Operations department regarding deliveries.
• Collaborate with outside sales rep to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure new accounts are setup in a timely manner.
• Accurate file and document maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge on product lines and industry standards.
• Prepare appropriate reports in a timely manner.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Customer Service
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax/scan/copier and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This position does not require travel.
