Job Description
Our church community is seeking an enthusiastic and focused Student Minister to join our ministry team. As a vital member of our pastoral staff, the Student Minister will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual growth and development of our youth, equipping them to live out their faith boldly in today's world. The ideal candidate is a person who can relate well with youth, parents, and adult volunteers.

Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to students in middle and high school, fostering an environment where they can deepen their relationship with God.

Build meaningful relationships with students, earning their trust and creating a safe space for them to share their joys, struggles, and questions about faith.
:
Develop and implement engaging teaching curriculum and discipleship programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of teenagers. Utilize a demonstrative teaching style to effectively communicate biblical truths and principles.
:
Cultivate a passion for missions and global outreach among students, empowering them to participate in local and international mission projects and service opportunities.

Work closely with other ministry leaders and volunteers to integrate student ministry initiatives with the broader church vision and programming.

Organize and lead various events, retreats, and activities designed to foster community, spiritual growth, and discipleship among students.

Partner with parents and families to support and encourage them in their role as primary spiritual influencers in the lives of their children.

Continuously invest in personal growth and development, staying current with trends and best practices in student ministry and youth culture.
- A genuine personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out biblical principles in daily life.
- Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience working in youth ministry or student leadership role (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students on a personal level.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to plan and execute ministry initiatives effectively.
- A heart for missions and a desire to instill a passion for global outreach in the next generation of believers.
