The purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with City codes and ordinances and to coordinate the abatement of violations. The position is responsible for conducting field inspections, identifying and documenting violations, issuing notices and citations, responding to public inquiries, and maintaining accurate case records. The Code Compliance Officer supports the Neighborhood Services Department through interdepartmental collaboration, communication with residents and businesses, and public education regarding City codes and community standards.

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Six months of experience involving customer service, conflict resolution, or related interactions.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Texas Code Enforcement Officer License through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) within one (1) year of employment.
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
