We are hiring a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician position for our Long-Term Care Pharmacy in the Dallas-Ft Worth area. This Pharmacy Technician role focuses on high-volume prescription order entry and accurate data processing to support long term care facilities across DFW. If you are a detail oriented Pharmacy Technician with strong data entry skills with excellent documentation and communication skills and enjoy a fast paced pharmacy work environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Technician Data Entry
  • Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy management software.
  • Perform accurate prescription data entry and order verification with a 99.8 percent accuracy level.
  • Maintain patient profiles and medication records.
  • Communicate with nurses, providers, and facility staff to clarify orders and inform them of any issues that may arise.
  • Assist pharmacists in resolving order discrepancies.
  • Managing the Prior Authorization system and notifying facility staff or patients of the outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations and HIPPA.
  • Support daily workflow and meet LTC pharmacy production deadlines.
  • Able to manage time appropriately to finish all daily tasks.
Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician Data Entry
  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration (required).
  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience required.
  • Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong Data Entry and typing skills with a high accuracy rate.
  • Experience with Pharmacy Software systems.
  • QS/1 Docu Track Experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
