Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides specialized care for patients with life-threatening conditions, utilizing their expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patient care, and post-CABG care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for high-acuity patients in the ICU.
• Utilize ECMO, heart transplant, CABG, and a variety of equipment.
• Perform documentation using Meditech and participate in bedside shift reports.
• May float to other ICUs or PCUs depending on volume and acuity.

Requirements:

• 2+ years ICU experience.
• Active Texas RN License (Temp license not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring and post-CABG care.
• Meditech electronic medical records experience preferred.
