Job Description
You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and serve as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. Key responsibilities include assessing donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed for medical or technical guidance.
- Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate evaluation with occupational health/ER.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized nursing program with state licensing requirements.
- Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- State‑required IV therapy certification.
- Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Minimum of two years clinical or hospital experience.

CompensationU.S. Hourly Wage Range: $24.32 - $33.44. The actual hourly wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives and a range of benefits, including 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time, and up to 120 hours of paid vacation for new hires.
