Plasma Center Nurse- RN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs, develop Center Physician’s standing orders, and manage donor transport to emergency care facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical issues related to donor safety and eligibility.
• Support HepatitisB and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health or ER; refer to EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist with investigations related to pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate‑equivalent recognized nursing education with state requirements.
• Current state license or certification for RN, NP, or PA in the assignment location.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Complete state requirements for basic IV therapy in the state of licensure.
• Successfully finish the FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Hourly wage range: $33.44 – $45.98.
