We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative with a minimum of 2 years of experience selling services within the construction industry. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting revenue growth through strategic prospecting and account management. Light travel is required for client meetings, new account introductions, and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and project stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to introduce services and demonstrate value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and service solutions.
  • Manage and nurture existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and job site visits as needed.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience selling services in the construction industry (required).
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project life cycles, and industry terminology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems.
  • Established network within the local construction market.
  • Ability to read construction plans or understand project specifications.
