Veterinary Receptionist - Appointments

Animal Clinic Northview is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist for Appointments. This role is so much more than making appointments — you are one of the first interactions our clients have when entering the hospital, and your ability to provide clear communication, empathy, professionalism, and accuracy makes a lasting impact.

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and customer‑focused Receptionist to join our Appointments Team. This role is the first point of contact for our clients, with a primary focus on answering a high volume of incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments across our busy veterinary hospital. • Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls with professionalism and compassion
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments for multiple departments
• Assist clients with general questions and direct calls to the appropriate team members
• Accurately enter and update client and patient information
• Help manage daily appointment flow to maximize efficiency
• Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction
• Work closely with doctors, technicians, and the reception team to ensure seamless communication
• Maintain accurate records while multitasking in a fast‑paced environment
• Support additional front desk duties as needed

• Previous veterinary, medical office, customer service, or billing experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable discussing invoices, medications, and treatment plans with clients
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
• Comfortable working evenings, rotating Saturdays, holidays, and emergency situations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with pets as needed

Full‑Time (36+ hours weekly)

Monday‑Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Shift differential pay available during designated ER hours, including weekends and overnight emergency coverage periods.

• Starting pay at $15/hour
• Shift differential pay starting at $22.95/hour during designated ER shifts
