Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide

Instructional aide needed to work in the able classroom at the academic center. Seven (7) hours per day, student work days plus three professional development days and eleven paid holidays, with additional hours/days as may be assigned. Compensation will be per the board approved salary schedule ($16.16 - $17.26 per hour). Employment is contingent upon a BCI & FBI fingerprinting background check.

(cost is $55.00) Current opening is at the academic center. Position includes earned sick leave, optional health insurance, board paid life insurance and personal leave. A paraprofessional license (Educational Aide Permit) with an ESEA Qualified endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education is required. Employment is contingent upon the results of a criminal background check and the ability to obtain a paraprofessional license with the required ESEA qualified endorsement with assistance of the district (cost is $25.00) The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the district.
