We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our in-office team in North Ridgeville, Ohio. This role is responsible for managing all phases of structural engineering projects—from proposal development through final delivery—while ensuring technical excellence, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a proactive mindset. You will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, overseeing project execution, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.

• Provide expert guidance on structural engineering design and analysis.
• Review drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure high-quality, code-compliant solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex structural challenges and make sound engineering decisions.
• Lead projects from proposal creation through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee development of structural drawings and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Maintain internal quality control processes.
• Work closely with internal civil engineering and surveying teams.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, developers, and municipalities to align project goals and ensure seamless execution.
• Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and productivity.
• Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Maintain certifications and continuing education credits as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related engineering field.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects required.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and structural design.
• Proficiency in Enercalc, RISA-2D, CAD/Revit, Excel, and Bluebeam.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace platforms.
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
