Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Northridge Rehabilitation & Care Center in North Ridgeville, OH. As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and care to our residents while overseeing the daily operations of our unit. Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and management to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide direct patient care as needed

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and training as necessary

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and reports

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy, social services, and activities, to ensure comprehensive care

  • Develop and manage the unit's budget, including personnel, supplies, and equipment

  • Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion, promoting a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the State of Ohio
