Position Overview

At Malley’s Chocolates, the Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional store experience, maintaining operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team.   • Maintain proper inventory levels and help implement FIFO practices to reduce waste.
  • Support regular inventory checks and stock management routines.
Banking and Accounting
  • Assist with cash handling, register balancing, and deposit preparation with accuracy and accountability.
  • Use store systems effectively and help train team members on technology tools.
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Autonomy and Initiative
  • Actively take ownership of delegated responsibilities and daily store functions.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Encourage team responsibility and independence in their roles.
Adaptability and Continuous Improvement
  • Adapt quickly to changes in store procedures or company initiatives.

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of retail experience, with some supervisory or keyholder responsibility preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory control.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and be in good standing.
