Vacuum Excavation Technician – CDL

• Travel to assigned work sites to perform vacuum excavation
• Perform soil extraction using vacuum with pressurized water or air
• Conduct vacuum excavation activities near utilities, including core drilling, shoveling, back filling, and construction labor
• Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Use a company-provided laptop to document projects
• Travel locally during the business day and potentially travel out of area or overnight
• Work daytime, full-time positions with possible overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Utility and/or construction experience preferred
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required
• CDL Position requires an A or B CDL
• Must currently possess or have the ability to possess a DOT medical card
• Able to pass a drug screen
• Able to stand and walk for long periods on varying terrain; bend and stoop; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities
• Computer proficiency
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps, and prints
• Possess basic math skills to calculate distances
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners
• No industry experience necessary; training provided

Demonstrates proficiency in vacuum excavation techniques and utility identification while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in various outdoor conditions and effectively communicating with team members and clients.
