Housekeeper, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

Akari Care Limited is recruiting a Housekeeper for one of its care homes for older people, leading the domestic and laundry teams. The role centres on keeping residents' rooms and communal areas clean and hygienic, and on rostering staff so that resident care is always covered. Prior housekeeper or team leader experience in a similar care setting is required, so this suits candidates who already work at that level.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residents' rooms and all communal areas
• Support, train and coach the domestic and laundry teams
• Ensure the correct staff resource is available through accurate rostering
• Continually assess the domestic needs of all residents
• Deliver to the highest standards in line with all policies and procedures
• Promote continual improvement of standards, prioritising resident care

• Experience working in a similar environment
• Housekeeper or team leader experience
