Anchor Point Early Learning Academy is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our growing team in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. What you’ll do:
  • Support Lead Teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years.
  • Foster curiosity, language development, social skills, and early learning through play-based experiences.
  • Build nurturing relationships with children through consistent care, encouragement, and positive interactions.
  • Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, naps, and classroom transitions.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Support children's social-emotional development by modeling patience, kindness, and positive behavior.
  • Observe and respond to each child's individual needs while promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with teaching team members to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and families.
  • 18 years or older
  • Associates degree preferred
  • CPR/ first aid certification within 30 days
  • Positive attitude
