• Valid MN Middle School teaching license
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development through coursework, research, and peer collaboration.
• Extensive knowledge of core curriculum areas instructed.
• Deep understanding of educational philosophy, teaching methods, researched best practices, and strategies.
• Awareness of students’ learning styles and needs, including academic and affective aspects.
• Knowledge of multicultural, gender, and disability‑fair curriculum concepts.
• Classroom management techniques.
• Instructional technology working knowledge.
• Classroom presentation skills.
• Organization and classroom management skills.
• Maintaining records and developing reports.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons based upon district and school goals and student needs.
• Instructional competence in core subjects.
• Adaptability to diverse student populations.
• Interpersonal skills with students, parents, staff, administration, and community members of diverse backgrounds.
• Student performance evaluation and presentation to foster achievement.
• Team collaboration in a cooperative learning environment.
• Computer and multimedia technology usage.

• Provide instruction in core curriculum areas, utilizing instructional resources and technologies.
• Implement district and school goals and objectives.
• Follow prescribed curriculum, unless authorized otherwise.
• Evaluate student performance, maintain records, and report to principals or superintendent as required.
• Maintain contact with parents and collaborate on student development.
• Perform classroom management duties and enforce district rules.
• Ensure health and hygienic conditions in the classroom.
