Maintenance Technician

Calgon Carbon Corporation Careers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, pumps, conveyors, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable performance. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, mechanical and basic electrical repairs, reading schematics, and documenting work in CMMS. You will collaborate with operations and engineering teams, follow strict safety and environmental standards, and support continuous improvement in a mission-driven, clean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and facility equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
• Use CMMS to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment
• Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment in clean, safe condition
