Role Description

This remote Software Engineer Intern role is an internship position focused on supporting the development and enhancement of web-based applications and internal tools. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing code, assisting with back-end development, debugging issues, and collaborating with engineers on software features and improvements. The intern will help implement object-oriented programming practices, document technical work, and participate in code reviews.

The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, contributing ideas to improve system performance, and working closely with cross-functional team members to align technical solutions with brand-focused goals.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and principles.
  • Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development practices.
  • Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with common programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
  • Ability to read, write, and debug code, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field) is preferred.
