POSITION OVERVIEW

Providing assistance to teachers, students, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of daily activities within the school setting.

• Work under the direct supervision of the principal to provide support as needed on the campus.
• Assist in duties such as making copies, delivering materials, and other projects, as needed.
• Assist with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, lunch periods, and field trips.
• Assist in the drop‑off and pick‑up of children through Driveline, possibly during inclement weather.
• Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students expected of fully licensed teachers.
• Alert the regular teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.
• May assist staff and students in the use of educational computer programs.
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor which do not require professional skills.
• May periodically work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.

• High School Diploma/GED required.

The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
