Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Flatwork Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in all phases of concrete flatwork, from site preparation through final finishing. This position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on job sites.

Job Requirements

• Perform grade work
  , including establishing proper elevations and slopes
• Prepare subgrade and base course
  , including compaction and leveling
• Set and secure forms for concrete flatwork
• Place and finish concrete
• Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools (trowels, floats, screeds, etc.)
• Ensure concrete meets specifications for thickness, finish, and slope
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and grade stakes
• Work with crew members to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a concrete flatwork finisher
• Strong knowledge of grading, subgrade preparation, and base course installation
• Ability to form, pour, and finish sidewalks, driveways, slabs, and other flatwork
• Familiarity with concrete tools and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
