We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Equipment Technician / Yard Technician
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and organizing equipment and machinery within our facility or yard. This position ensures that all equipment is operational, properly maintained, safe to use, and stored in an orderly manner. You will collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and maintenance teams to support timely and efficient workflow.
- Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair equipment and machinery according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive services on all yard equipment.
- Track and record maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory using company systems.
- Organize and maintain yard equipment, tools, and accessories in designated storage areas.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety and environmental guidelines.
- Report equipment issues, malfunctions, or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Support inventory management, including receiving and dispatching equipment and materials.
- Follow all security protocols to prevent loss or damage of site assets.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Certification in equipment maintenance or relevant technical field
- Experience with construction, industrial, or heavy equipment
- Familiarity with inventory management software

Physical Requirements
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions and noisy equipment
- Physically demanding role with frequent lifting, bending, and standing
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided and required for all tasks
