On-Call Clerical Assistant in Squamish

Location: Squamish

Be part of School District No. 48 as an On-Call Clerical Assistant in the Squamish/Whistler/Pemberton area. Support school operations by managing clerical and accounting tasks efficiently.

This on-call role requires following the direction of School Principal(s) and performing essential clerical work. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and experience related to office tasks, especially with proficiency in database management and experience in computerized attendance/scheduling programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a variety of clerical and accounting tasks

• Ensure efficient school office operations under Principal's guidance

• Maintain and manage office equipment effectively

• Operate database and spreadsheet software confidently

• Provide assistance in maintaining attendance records

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion and relevant program training

• 2-3 years of clerical experience or equivalent training

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

• Proficient keyboarding skills (minimum 60 wpm)

• Basic First Aid knowledge
