Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX

As the Senior Supply Chain Specialist within the Climate team, you’ll use your Supply Chain knowledge to help drive our global decarbonization strategy within the Supply Chain team. You’ll work hands‑on with our Supply Chain teams and external partners to reduce Scope 3 emissions and turn our climate goals into measurable impact. This is a unique opportunity to join a company keen to make change and be the catalyst for change in the industry.

This role is based in North Vancouver and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team

Our small but passionate Climate team is part of the broader Supply Chain organization. We collaborate across departments and with partners at Arc’teryx and Amer Sports to deliver meaningful progress on emissions reductions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Leading cross‑functional teams both within and outside of Arc’teryx to drive decarbonization projects
  • Analyzing data from multiple sources, in partnership with our data team, to draw out insights to action, develop targets and scale programs
  • Co‑developing leading decarbonization projects and operations that go beyond industry norms, working with a network of global organizations (e.g., SBTi, Aii, FICCA) to shape industry‑wide solutions
  • Working with Finished Goods and Raw Materials Sourcing teams to continuously improve supplier climate expectations and support
  • Providing hands‑on guidance to key suppliers in collaboration with Sourcing teams
  • Partnering with industry peers and finance groups to explore shared tools, clean‑energy investments, and renewable‑energy procurement
  • Collaborating with Merchandizing and Logistics and Operations teams to identify low‑carbon solutions
  • Supporting implementation of lower‑emission distribution and transportation strategies (e.g. modal shifts, EVs, route optimization)
  • Building climate literacy and alignment across our Supply Chain teams
  • Exploring emerging technologies and partnerships and investment opportunities
  • Supporting change management and transparency—internally and externally
  • Creating tools, training, and content to build capacity and inspire climate action across our supply chain
Future Work
  • Supporting the evaluation of clean‑energy partnerships and investment opportunities
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, renewable‑energy programs, or supply‑chain management — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A strong understanding of the entire Supply Chain process
  • Experience in the apparel or consumer goods industry with an understanding of the commercialization process for an apparel company
  • A strong understanding of supplier engagement, logistics decarbonization, and Scope 3 emissions
  • Experience developing or scaling new programs—especially where there isn’t a clear blueprint
  • A builder who thrives in ambiguity and has experience developing new programs and processes where there is no blueprint
  • Passion for doing business differently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, building relationships both internally and externally
  • Strategic thinking skills and the ability to connect long‑term vision with practical action
  • Strong communication and project management skills, and comfort working across diverse teams and external partners
  • Curiosity, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration effectively
  • Inspiration for breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to leaving it better
  • Passion for work and for getting outside and living it
