Job Overview
As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you can help your clients reach their financial goals while building your own business within the RBC brand. This role offers extensive training, support, and resources to grow a high‑net‑worth client base in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Sea to Sky Corridor, and Sechelt.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain client relationships using strong people and problem‑solving skills.
- Build a client base of high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and business owners, managing their complex financial needs.
- Create customized portfolios and wealth plans for clients, leveraging RBC’s investment and wealth‑management resources.
- Foster long‑term, trusted relationships through personalized service and advice.
- Collaborate with RBC partners (Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance) to support clients’ full financial needs.
- Earn 100% commission and manage production-driven compensation.
- Leverage RBC’s strong brand and reputation to attract and retain high‑net‑worth clients.
- Utilize RBC’s extensive resources to design and execute tailored investment strategies.
- Establish multi‑generational relationships and maintain a consistent, high‑quality client experience.
- Build reciprocal relationships with RBC partners to provide comprehensive client support.
- 4–6 years of outbound sales experience with a proven ability to achieve 100% commission.
- Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) or completion prior to start date.
- Passion for financial planning and portfolio management.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals.
- Experience in a direct‑marketing or high‑value sales role within financial services.
- Completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
