City Budget Analyst II Temporary Position

Step into a critical role as a temporary Budget Analyst II at the City of North Vancouver. This position supports budget planning and analysis to meet the city's financial goals.

Join the Finance & Economic Development department for approximately one year, helping in the administration of the annual budget and providing valuable support to program managers. With at least three years of experience in financial management, you’ll engage in budget analysis, evaluate revenue streams, and assist with various financial assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the budget planning and financial coordination

• Provide analysis for salary schedules and revenue streams

• Offer support to department heads on financial processes

• Conduct ad hoc budgeting evaluations and reports

• Collaborate within a diverse team environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant financial experience

• Background in municipal government budgeting preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

• Progress towards a CPA or equivalent designation is a plus
