Position: Environmental Consultant for Infrastructure Projects
Be part of Hatfield's IEM team as an Environmental Consultant focusing on infrastructure projects in New Westminster or North Vancouver, BC. Contribute to essential construction monitoring from August 2026 to February 2027.

Hatfield, a respected Canadian company for over 50 years, seeks Environmental Consultants for contract work in tackling large-scale infrastructure initiatives. The role involves performing environmental management through barge-based monitoring, including marine observations and data collection. Candidates with a minimum of four years' experience in monitoring are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform construction monitoring and marine mammal observations

• Collect hydroacoustic and water quality data

• Collaborate with contractors on environmental protection

• Identify management measures for projects

• Ensure compliance with environmental guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years' experience in environmental monitoring

• Relevant diploma or degree for BC work

• Professional certification (QEP, BIT, etc.)

• Demonstrated experience in erosion and sediment control

• Valid Canadian driver’s license for the past three years
