Experienced Ecotoxicologist in BC

Hatfield seeks an Experienced Ecotoxicologist to enhance its impact on environmental assessments in British Columbia. This role combines fieldwork and hybrid arrangements, emphasizing both team collaboration and independent analysis.

Based out of North Vancouver or New Westminster, the position requires a minimum of five years in toxicology. You will develop ecotoxicology studies, manage project schedules, and lead data interpretation.

Your role will ensure effective communication of technical findings to our diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute ecotoxicology studies and monitoring

• Oversee project budgets and timelines

• Coordinate with analytical labs for toxicological assessments

• Participate in environmental monitoring of aquatic systems

• Prepare project technical reports and presentations

Requirements:

• At least five years working in toxicology

• Graduate degree focused on environmental chemical effects

• Familiarity with Canadian risk assessment methods

• Knowledge of water quality standards in BC

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
