Microworks is hiring a full-time handyman/carpenter to join our team and enjoy the freedom, respect, and high-end tools you deserve. This role is built for someone who’s great at their craft and wants to work locally in North Vancouver, Vancouver, and Burnaby - not stuck on big crews or buried in chaos. You’ll work independently, take home a clean and spacious van each night, and be supported by a company that puts tradespeople first.

• Late-model, fully stocked, and tall enough to stand in. No more kneeling to find tools or working out of a truck. You take it home each night and can treat it like your own.

• We pay top-of-market rates because we know your time and skills are valuable. This is a full-time role built to support a great life in the Lower Mainland.

• We set you up for success with full training on our tools, systems, and customer process. After that, you’re off and running as autonomously as possible.

• You’ll work only in North Vancouver, Vancouver, and Burnaby - no job sites hours away. You start your work day from your van, not a shop.

• You’re trusted to do your job well, and we want you to have autonomy, but you’re never on your own. Our systems and office team have your back, so you can focus on the job and get it done right.

• Completing 1–2 small jobs per day, including maintenance, repairs, and small jobs
• Working solo with professional presentation and customer communication, and attending fun team meetups
• Using our CRM software (House Call Pro ) to update progress and photos
• Keeping your van and workspace clean, organized, and safe

• 5+ years in handyman, carpentry, or residential renovation work
• Strong general skills: general carpentry, drywall, painting, trim, rot repair, fence repair, finishing carpentry work, furniture assembly, etc
• Ability to problem‑solve independently and manage your own schedule
• Clean Class 5 driver’s license
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working full days
• Comfortable driving a full-size high‑roof van
• Friendly, respectful, and reliable — the kind of person people trust in their home

$41 - $45 hourly
