HVAC Installer; East Kootenay

Tired of bouncing between shops where you're just another body on a truck?

Looking for a place where your skills actually matter, your pay reflects your ability, and you're surrounded by people who give a damn?

High Point is hiring a full-time HVAC Installer who wants to crush it in the East Kootenays.

• You take real pride in installing systems that actually work perfectly — no callbacks, no half-assed jobs.
• You want steady, year-round work instead of wondering where the next paycheck is coming from.
• You like working with a tight crew that has your back.

• Install top-quality heating and cooling systems in homes and businesses across the Kootenays. Run new ductwork, set equipment properly, commission systems so they run clean and efficient, and fix problems when they pop up. You’ll work on both residential and light commercial jobs — variety that keeps the days interesting.
• You’ll get to see your work every single day: families staying warm through
-30° winters and cool through July heatwaves. That feels good.

• Strong pay that rewards experience and hustle (we don’t lowball good techs)
• Consistent full-time hours + plenty of opportunity for overtime
• Year-round work — we stay busy even when it’s snowing sideways
• Quality tools, vans, and equipment (you won’t be using duct tape and prayers)
• Ongoing training so you stay sharp on new tech and keep growing your skills
• A team that actually works together instead of competing
• Pride in working for a local company that’s been trusted for years — not some faceless corporation
• Living and working in the East Kootenays — mountains, lakes, and a lifestyle most people only dream about

• Certified HVAC tech (Red Seal or equivalent is a big plus)
• Solid experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting systems
• Someone who pays attention to detail and doesn’t cut corners
• Good with customers — you can explain what you’re doing without talking down to people
• Physically strong and ready to work in real Kootenay weather
• Reliable, clean driver’s abstract, and a no-drama attitude
• If you’re a solid HVAC installer who wants to stop jumping around and actually build something with a team that values you, this might be your spot.
