• 16:00 – 00:30 (8 hours with 30-minute break)

We are seeking an experienced Road Marking Specialist to join our dynamic Highways Operations team. This role is crucial in delivering road and surface marking projects across the highway network, ensuring all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The position involves traveling to various sites in a company vehicle to perform highway line painting, operate specialized equipment, and support both winter maintenance and emergency response operations.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in road marking operations, be adept at working outdoors, and possess the ability to operate specialized machinery safely within live highway environments.

• Apply permanent and temporary road markings using thermoplastic and paint materials.
• Conduct line painting works to meet highway specifications.
• Install new road markings according to approved designs.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all installed markings.
• Remove existing road markings using approved methods.

• Operate specialized road marking machinery and vehicles.
• Use hand applicators, extrusion equipment, and other specialized tools.
• Conduct daily inspections of plant and equipment.
• Report any defects and maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.

• Set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary traffic management systems.
• Install traffic management measures, including cones, signs, barriers, and safety zones.
• Ensure compliance with Chapter 8 requirements and safe working practices.
• Maintain safe work zones for staff, road users, and the public.

• Prepare highway surfaces before applying road markings.
• Clean, dry, and prime surfaces as required.
• Ensure work sites are safe and ready for installation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site representatives for efficient project delivery.
