We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Staff member in the Northampton area!

Responsibilities:

- Prepare comprehensive federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on complex tax matters to provide accurate solutions.

- Manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely completion while maintaining high standards.

- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable service.

- Mentor and guide entry-level staff, fostering their growth and skill development.

- Delegate tasks effectively to team members and oversee their progress to ensure successful outcomes.

- Stay updated on tax regulations and industry trends to enhance knowledge and performance.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.

Requirements

- Proven experience in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.

- Proficiency in using tax preparation software such as CCH Pro System Fx.

- Strong analytical skills to research and resolve complex tax issues.

- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

- Ability to mentor and delegate tasks to less experienced staff.

- Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

- Commitment to continuous learning and focused development in the field of taxation.
