Job Title Property Administrator – Conveyancing

Location Bedford or Northampton

Salary Competitive

Permanent / Full-Time / Fully onsite | Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 17:00

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join a highly reputable and friendly conveyancing firm with offices in Bedford and Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a long-term career within an established conveyancing business. The firm offers a supportive environment, exposure to the full conveyancing process, and strong foundations for future progression.

The role would suit candidates with 6–12 months’ experience in a similar position and a basic understanding of the conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the case handling team
  • Open new client files and documentation
  • Upload files and documents onto relevant systems and databases
  • Allocate incoming post to the appropriate teams or departments
  • Carry out general administration and filing duties as required
  • Support the smooth progression of conveyancing matters through accurate and timely administration
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and adaptable to changing client requirements
  • Takes pride in their work and delivers a high standard of client service
  • Organised with good attention to detail
Desirable
  • Prior experience within a law firm, financial services or mortgage provider, estate agency, or other property-related organisation
  • Basic knowledge of the conveyancing lifecycle, including post-completion
  • Experience in roles such as Conveyancing Assistant, Property Assistant, Estate Agent, Sales Progressor, Mortgage Advisor, Customer Service Assistant, Sales Negotiator, or Residential Property Paralegal
