This is a temp role with the potential to hire! About the Role

We are seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily office and program operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff while also providing essential administrative and clerical support across departments. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and take accurate messages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and deliveries.
  • Schedule interviews and route employment applications to hiring managers.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support including filing, copying, scanning, printing, word processing, and data entry.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, tracking logs, rosters, certifications, and operational records.
  • Assist with maintaining program files, billing support documentation, and compliance‑related paperwork.
  • Support administrative processes such as intake, discharge, recertification, move‑in/move‑out documentation, and eligibility paperwork as applicable.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, outside agencies, vendors, landlords, and community partners to support office and program operations.
  • Track CPR/First Aid certifications and send renewal reminders as needed.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed in accordance with agency and program requirements.
  • Attend team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and external partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, client, and organizational information.
  • Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
