We are hiring a Clinical Support Staff for our Northampton Outpatient Clinic!

Position Summary:

This position provides essential secretarial and receptionist support to ensure the smooth operation of a designated River Valley Counseling Center site. Responsibilities include managing client records, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining a professional front office environment. The role also requires confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to support staff, clients, and administrative functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide secretarial and clerical support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the assigned site location.

Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and other activities for professional staff as requested.

Organize, maintain, and accurately manage client and administrative files and records, ensuring timely retrieval when needed.

Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, taking and relaying messages accurately and efficiently.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients, families, staff, and community partners.

Demonstrate flexibility and reliability to work evening hours and provide Saturday coverage on a rotating schedule as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or office experience in a healthcare setting.

Candidates who are bilingual (English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Summary of Benefits:

Salary Range: $20 - $21.50

Based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications. Additional Compensation for advanced education for qualifying positions.
