Overview
Lia Toyota Northampton is seeking a B/C Level Automotive Technician to join our team. The service departments are equipped with the latest technologies and equipment, including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. We look for an experienced technician who thrives in a fast‑paced, professional, and positive environment and rewards hard‑working, reliable, and team‑oriented individuals.
Compensation- Salary range: $36,000 – $60,000 per year
- Sign‑on bonus:
Up to $2,500 based on experience and/or certifications - Paid weekly
- Paid time off
- 1+ years of Service Technician experience required
- Experience performing preventative and light duty maintenance
- Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience preferred
- NYS Inspection certification preferred
- ASE Certification recommended
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
- Computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Must have clean and valid driver’s license
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
- Test‑drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to evaluate components and systems
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including suspension, brakes, tires, and light engine work
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and estimates of time required
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
