Position: Lia CJDR Northampton - Automotive Service Technician- Level A and Level A+

Lia CJDR Northampton is seeking a Level A and Level A+ Automotive Technician to join our team. If you're an experienced technician looking for a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment that rewards hard-working, reliable, and team-oriented individuals, this is the right place for you! Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies & equipment including service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines.

Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $75K-$150K+
SIGN ON BONUS:
Available up to $5000 based experience, certifications & qualifications

Requirements
  • 3+ years of Service Technician experience required
  • Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience required
  • State Inspection certification required
  • WiTech Certification Preferred
  • ASE Certification recommended
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have clean & valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
