Position: June Program - Counselor

Overview

The June Program is a 3-week summer program that serves students in grades K-6 at the Campus School of Smith College. The program runs from June 1 - 18, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m.

- 4:45 p.m. This program offers students opportunities to participate in various activities on the Smith College Campus. Students in grades K-2 will use Campus School facilities for activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, kung-fu, water games, drama, sports, storytelling and more. Students in grades 3-6 will use Smith College athletic facilities and other buildings to participate in activities including art, sports & games (basketball, badminton, dodgeball, pickleball, soccer), cooking, theater, science, nature exploration and more.

Start Date: May 31 (training)

End Date: June 20

Job Description - Counselors

Assist and monitor students in grades K-6 throughout the day during activities, transitions, snack and lunch, arrival and dismissal. Uphold and support program protocol, policies and procedures. Report to the program coordinator.

Hourly Rate: $16

Hours per week: 35 hrs per week (7 hrs per day)
