Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator in the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute at Cooley Dickinson has responsibility and accountability for scheduling specialist appointments, completing medical history requests, and providing administrative services for the Cancer Center. This position is part of the 1199
SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. This position reports to the Practice Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Schedule specialist appointments
- Complete medical history requests
- Provide administrative services for the Cancer Center
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical practice preferred
- Demonstrated ability to type and operate business office equipment including copy machines and fax machines
- Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications including Windows and word processing
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
