• Provide hands‑on support for therapeutic exercise programs, neuromuscular re‑education, and functional mobility training under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Assist with post‑operative rehabilitation, sports injury recovery, and chronic condition management, ensuring patients receive high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
• Document daily treatment notes, update progress reports, and communicate patient status to the care team in accordance with clinical guidelines and HIPAA standards.
• Set up and ensure proper use of therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hot/cold therapy as directed by the PT.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs (HEP), activity modifications, and safe progression strategies to support continued recovery outside the clinic.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and administrative staff to coordinate smooth scheduling, treatment flow, and continuity of care.

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Active Massachusetts PTA license in good standing (Required).
• Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or outpatient physical therapy (Preferred).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate patient documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient populations.
• CPR/BLS certification (Preferred).
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with the clinical team.

• Full‑time, Monday–Friday
• Day shifts only — No evenings or weekends
• 40 hours per week
