We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice onsite at 22 Atwood Drive in Northampton, MA! The practice needs are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm but we are flexible on the shift times!

As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the collaborative team. The vision is for our Medical Assistants to work 1 to 1 with their assigned provider while having the ability to rotate occasionally.

The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
