City of Northampton is hiring a Community Care Responder to handle 9-1-1 and non-emergency referrals, prioritizing information, assessing needs, and dispatching resources. The role involves coordination with law enforcement, emergency services, and health agencies to support community members in crisis.
Excellent candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 1+ year crisis/peer support experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred, and a Class D Driver's License is desirable.
