Physical Therapist Contract Role
This contract role places a physical therapist in a school setting to deliver individualized treatment and support student success over a 36-week period in or near Northampton, Massachusetts. The position offers up to $58 per hour, with a focus on improving student mobility and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver physical therapy services to students with diverse needs across school buildings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student success
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or State Equivalent
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Background check clearance
- Ability to work with children in a school environment
- Flexibility in schedule
- Comfortable working in a dynamic school setting
