Connect directly with families receiving Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (ECMHC) services, building trusting, strengths-based working relationships.
Collaborate for Success:
Partner with ECMHC Consultants, early education and care providers, and parents to help implement, monitor, and adjust individualized success plans.
Bridge Essential Resources:
Help families navigate, identify, and access critical community supports—including public school referrals, housing assistance, WIC, DTA, mental health services, after-school care, and summer programs.
Foster Inclusive Environments:
Assist in cultivating welcoming team dynamics where families and early education and care providers feel comfortable, supported, and valued.
Flexible Delivery:
Work in a dynamic hybrid environment across childcare centers, family homes, community locations, and remote settings.
What We're Looking For We are seeking empathetic, community-minded individuals who understand the realities of raising a young child. As someone with lived experience as a parent or caregiver, you know firsthand how vital a strong support network is. You excel at working collaboratively, listening without judgment, and empowering families to advocate for their children’s growth and well-being. This is a part-time position (18-25 hours per week) based in Worcester, Franklin & Hampshire Counties.
Minimum Qualifications Degree:
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Mental Health, Early Childhood Development and/or Education, or a related field (equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience are welcomed and encouraged to apply).Licensure:
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for regional travel.
Expertise:
Strong understanding of early child development, strengths-based approaches, and effective team communication.
Experience (Highly Preferred):
Lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a young child who attended an early education and care program, combined with professional experience working with young children and families.
Key
Skills:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong organizational and prioritization skills, dependability, and physical stamina to travel across regions and lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Experience Knowledge of family systems, trauma-informed care practices, and culturally responsive approaches.
Terms of Employment
Schedule:
Part-time (18–25 hours/week, region-dependent). Offers a hybrid, flexible work setup including occasional scheduled evening meetings or professional development events.

We currently have multiple openings for this position available across Western Massachusetts. This position is based in:
Worcester, Hampshire & Franklin Counties: 18–25 hours per week Salary Range: $25.00 per hour Benefits:
Eligible for agency benefits per CES policy for individuals working over 20 hours per week.
