The role
To lead the curation, delivery, and communication of digital learning across Shoosmiths, ensuring all colleagues can easily access, engage with, and complete the right learning at the right time. This role is pivotal in driving a one-firm approach to digital learning, compliance, and communications.

Core Accountability Areas
- Mandatory Learning: Plan and manage the mandatory learning calendar, oversee module updates, and ensure timely reporting and compliance across the firm.
- Digital Content Ownership and Curation: Understand, own and manage the digital content libraries in the LMS e.g Inrehearsal and MBL. Curate, maintain, and update high-quality digital learning content, both internal and external, ensuring accessibility and alignment with business needs. Use data to identify what is being used and what the gaps are.
- Learning Communications: Coordinate and deliver clear, engaging, and brand-aligned communications about learning opportunities and requirements, supporting a “one firm” approach.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide management information (MI) on learning usage, completion rates, and effectiveness, using insights to inform future learning priorities and improvements.
- Learning Management System: Operates, govern and drive continuous improvement of the Docebo/LMS platform, ensuring data integrity, user experience, and discoverability of learning resources. Work with the PSLs, the IT Learning Team, the P&TD team to ensure that the system integrates all the learning into a clear and simple structure that makes it easy for our colleagues to access.
- Learning Programmes and Toolkits: Work closely with the P&TD Heads to coordinate programme communications and launch plans as well as the production of practical toolkits and micro-content for firm-wide use.
- Client Learning: Work with internal SME’s, SS8 to develop an external client offer and work with external clients to deliver this.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with the LMS vendor and content providers; escalate issues; manage roadmaps and support tickets.

Skills, Experience & Behaviours
- Strong experience in LMS design and administration (preferably Docebo), digital content curation, and learning communications.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to work across divisions and offices.
- Strong understanding of compliance, risk, and data integrity in a learning context.
- Driving change and transformation in learning
