Team Lead Machinist

** About the department
** The Machinist is a critical role in Manufacturing, and will belong to a culture of personnel and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
** Your responsibilities
*** Lead Manufacturing Team
* Work with and train machinist
* Operates and maintains CNC lathe and CNC milling machines.
* Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints to ensure accurate production.
* Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
* Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
* Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
* Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
* Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
* Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.###

*** Leadership* Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in math
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
* Prior experience with CNC lathe and or CNC Mill
