** The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing and maintaining the tool crib, ensuring that tools, equipment, and supplies are readily available for operational needs. This role involves inventory control, tool distribution, maintenance, and record-keeping to support production, maintenance, and other departments efficiently.
** Your Responsibilities:
*** Issue and receive tools, equipment, and supplies to/from employees.
* Inspect tools for damage or wear and report any issues to supervisors.
* Coordinate tool repairs or replacements as needed.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using the designated system or software.
* Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels meet operational requirements.
* Order and restock tools, supplies, and equipment as necessary.
* Document tool usage and returns to track inventory movement.
* Maintain logs of damaged or lost tools.
* Prepare reports on inventory levels, tool conditions, and requisitions.
* Keep the tool crib clean, organized, and secure.
* Label and categorize tools for efficient access.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards in the tool crib area.
* Collaborate with production, maintenance, and other teams to identify and fulfill tool requirements.
* Provide recommendations for tool or equipment upgrades based on usage and performance.

* Qualifications:
*** High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
* Prior experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role is preferred.
* Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with tools and equipment.
* Proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
