1st Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) with occasional opportunities on 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Manufacturing Operators to support production operations within a ceramics manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the production process from raw materials through final quality control while maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid Massachusetts Driver's License required
Manufacturing experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical work throughout the shift
Comfortable working at elevated heights when necessary
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Monitor and manage production from raw materials through finished product
Produce various product types according to production schedules
Support manufacturing processes including mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, firing, packaging, and quality control
Monitor production flow to maximize efficiency and meet customer requirements
Track and manage raw materials and production consumables
Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and changeover activities
Adjust processing parameters to meet product specifications
Troubleshoot production and quality issues with engineering and management teams
Operate forklifts to move raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished goods
Store materials and finished products in designated locations
Load and unload trucks as required
Package finished products for shipment
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Stand and walk for extended periods
Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks
Work around industrial equipment and manufacturing machinery
Occasionally work from ladders or elevated platforms
Stable full-time schedule
